Delta to launch non-stop service between New York and Bonaire

Delta Air Lines has announced that it will launch a new non-stop service between New York's John F Kennedy International Airport and Bonaire in the Netherlands Antilles, starting December 20, 2008.

The new flight from New York to Bonaire complements Delta's existing flight between Atlanta and Bonaire. Delta is offering customers a one-way introductory fare of $239 for travel between January 10, 2009, and April 4, 2009. Round-trip ticket purchase is required and tickets must be purchased by August 6, 2008.
Christophe Didier, vice president of sales and government affairs for Latin America and the Caribbean at Delta, said: "The Caribbean is a big part of our international expansion strategy as we add service and increase frequencies to popular beach destinations during the winter months."
